Department of Health Library: Where to Search

Where to Search

Knowing where and what to search are just as important as understanding how to search.  A journal database may not be the only resource for finding the information to answer your question.  The databases and resources here are not intended to be exhaustive lists, but to get you thinking about where the evidence can be found in your discipline.

Discovery Search

Discovery Search from Ovid Discovery is a one-stop tool that searches across most of the DoH Library's online resources including journal articles, e-books, and evidence based medicine resources such as Cochrane, TRIP, and BMJ Best Practice.

We recommend that you create a personal account on Ovid Discovery. This will enable you to use features such as bookmarks, saved searches, and journal alerts.
