Mobile Apps

Important Notes:    

  • For technical information and support for your mobile device please consult your manual and/or contact your IT department
  • Mobile access is not free access. While some products include mobile access as part of the Library's ongoing subscription, many do not & require a personal subscription
  • Some resource links will send you directly to a specially developed mobile site, while others will send you to applications to download 
  • Subscription resources often require that you first register yourself and/or your device

The Library does not have access to all mobile devices and platforms.  In order to provide information on mobile access the Library has therefore relied on the information provided by the vendors of the products and apps.

The AusDI website is optimised for mobile devices.

Follow the instructions below in AusDI access on mobile device document, to register for a personal account and access the mobile optimised website with the login credentials you have created.

Access issues February 2025:

The AusDI vendor has identified a known issue with the recent Apple iOS 18.3.1 update and is actively working on a patch to resolve it as soon as possible. The issue does not allow some pages to load correctly or scroll down past a certain point.

Apple users experiencing this problem will need to:

Firstly, ensure that Safari and all apps have been closed by swiping up.

 Secondly clear their Safari browser history as follows:

  1. Settings>Apps>Safari>Clear History and Website Data – Clear all history
  2. Settings>Apps>Safari>Advanced>Website Data>Remove All Website data

 BMJ Best Practice App

 

App for Android, iOS & mobile site

Evidence-based information, Medical Calculators, and brief procedural videos are available via the app.  Download today.

  • If you already have a BMJ User profile, you can log into the app straight away.
  • If you need to create your user profile, follow instructions below. Access BMJ Best Practice on this page under Point of care tools.

  • Download the app from the iTunes Store or Google Play
  • Select Western Australia Department of Health - Corporate Library as Institution
  • Login with your HE number and network password
  • You will need to update your login each time a new network password is created. Go to Settings to enter a new password.

App for Android, or iOS

         Use to access Essential Evidence Plus, and ebooks.

  • Access Stat!Ref via the Library's website.
  • Click the Profile link just above the search bar on the TDS Health homepage and click the [Register] button from the pop-up window. 
  • Fill out the short form. The password must be at least 8 characters in length and can be upper and/or lowercase letters, numbers, and these symbols $-_!'(),@. The password is case-sensitive. Confirm your password.
  • Profile has now changed to; Welcome: Your Name Here! - select the Anywhere Login Account from the drop menu next to your name.
  • Click the [ACTIVATE] button to enable your personalized profile account as an Anywhere Login Account.
  • Download one of the STAT!Ref free apps from Google Play™ (Android), or Apple Apps for iOS (iPhone & iPad). Use your Anywhere Login Account to log into the app.
  • Remember the expiry date for your account activation. Every 90 days you will need to renew your account to maintain mobile access.

To RENEW your App access:

  • Access Stat!Ref via the Library's website.  
  •  Click on Profile and enter your TDS Health/STAT!Ref username (email address) and password and click Login. Profile turns into "Welcome Your Name Here!"
  • Click on the drop arrow next to - Welcome and select Anywhere Login Account.
  • Click the [RENEW] or [ACTIVATE] button.
  • Check the reCAPTCHA box and answer the security questions if asked (you may be asked a series of questions).
  • Login using your email address and password registered in your My Stat!Ref account to enable mobile access for 90 days.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Anywhere Login Accounts STAT!Ref Login accounts can only be created, activated, and renewed while officially logged in through your STAT!Ref subscription from your institution access URL. This cannot be done through or while logged in from the app or from anywhere else you have logged in using your Anywhere Login Account username and password. 

 

 

  Therapeutic Guidelines App

How to authenticate the new mobile app with your organisation once every 6 months to maintain access to Therapeutic Guidelines:

1. On your mobile device, access the Therapeutic Guidelines website via our home page, under Point of Care and Medication resources box:

  • Open an InPrivate/incognito window in your mobile browser (e.g., Safari or Chrome).
  • Visit the Library Portal of your institution and click on the ‘Therapeutic Guidelines’ resource.
  • Log in using your network credentials.

 2. Obtain the Access Key:

  • Once logged into the Therapeutic Guidelines website (resource) , click on the Menu (≡), where you should see the message with a pink box 'Access by Department of Health Western Australia’ as confirmation.
    • If this confirmation message is not visible, retry accessing the Therapeutic Guidelines resource through following the step 1 again.
  • Navigate to Menu (≡) >  Access by Department of Health Western Australia> Copy Access Key.

 A confirmation message will appear: Access Key copied to clipboard.

3. Log in Using the Access Key:

  • Open the Therapeutic Guidelines app installed on your device. If you do not have the latest version, download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 
  • Click on the ‘Log in’ button
  • Paste the copied access key under Access Key and submit.
  • You will see a confirmation message: “Access key set”
  • You should now be able to use the Mobile app. You will be required to follow these steps every 6 months to maintain access. 

 Note: The copy access key option will disappear once it's copied on your device.

Access Issues

February updates 26/02/2025: There is a delay in uploading content on the website for computers logging into Therapeutic Guidelines for the first time after a recent update. The vendor is investigating this issue.
Some bookmarks will not work due to content updates. Please visit the TG site and create a new bookmark.
