An updated guide for the release of EndNote 2025

EndNote

EndNote is reference management software with features that allow you to

  • Create a 'library' of references
  • Search and download references from electronic databases and library catalogues
  • Store downloaded PDFs with their relevant references
  • Generate bibliographies in specific styles
  • Share your library or group of references with your research colleagues

The WA Health Libraries Network (WAHLIN) has purchased a WA Health-wide EndNote licence.  It may be installed at Royal Street, GPO and Health Support Services.

If you work for one of the health service providers (WACHS, CAHS etc), please access through your own library website via the WA Health Libraries Network.

Log a job with the Health Support Services (HSS) Service Desk to have EndNote installed on your PC.

EndNote Training Resources

EndNote 2025 has been rolled out across WA Health.

One standout enhancement is the AI assistant which can extract and summarise key insights from articles and PDFs - making literature reviews and evidence gathering faster and more efficient.

If you use EndNote on a work laptop at home, please bring it into the office and connect to the network to ensure it upgrades to the latest version.
